Now that you’ve toured around the property outside, I want to welcome you inside our farmhome! When first touring our house when considering if we wanted to buy it, the previous owners had a lot of primary colors on the walls. I knew immediately I wanted to go for clean and simple and paint all the walls in the house pure white, minus some Sherwin-Williams Seasalt you’ll see in upcoming bedrooms. My decor in previous homes has always had a lot of black and white, with pops of pink walls, but this time around I toned down the pink walls throughout the house and reserved that for Bara Faith’s nursery which I will post in an upcoming tour entry.

For now, when you walk in our home, you enter through the screen door and pass by the vintage piano that has been passed down through the home.  I look forward to Bara Faith taking piano lessons one day on this antique piece.

It then takes you to our formal living room which I also use as my space for photography client’s Order Appointments, showcasing how we use canvases in our own home from our own family photo shoot.

Enjoy taking a look around our entry way, with more room tours to come in the coming weeks!

This entry way and door used to be Superman Blue with brass handles. We had the handle and lock swapped out for black ones and turned it all white! Farm Sweet Farm sign from Hobby Lobby. Rug from Lowes.

Bookcase and bookcase inserts from IKEA.  I’m sooooo glad Jacksonville is getting it’s own IKEA next year!  Woo hoo! The “&” sign is from Michaels. Also, the yarn loom on top of the bookcase was something fun I found in the attic space of this house that I thought was cool to bring down and use in the decor to pay regards to the history of the house.

Clock and “There’s No Place Like Home” sign from World Market. Gold mirror from Hobby Lobby.  Corner vase and sticks from IKEA.

I love how vintage these keys are on the piano.

B&W Pillow from ZGallerie (when oh when will Jacksonville get one of these stores?). Lamps from Home Goods.

Gold tray from Hobby Lobby.  Orchids from Home Goods. And of course I got my Magnolia Story book on display.

Rhinestone encrusted tufted damask sofa from LA Furniture.  I couldn’t find anything like this locally in Jacksonville so I had to go to the internet to shop for what I was envisioning years ago when we got this L shape sofa. Rug from Hobby Lobby. Glass table and blanket from Pier1.

Family photos by our beautiful friend Ginny Hobbs.

Gold mirror found at an antique store. Pink chair from a store that closed down.

Though our walls aren’t horizontal shiplap Joanna Gaines style, I love that they are vertical wood paneling for the shiplap feel!

Flowers from Home Goods.

I couldn’t help it, I still had to include a pop of pink somewhere in my decor to give it that Farmhouse Chic glam touch!

Hello Gorgeous tray from Swoozies. Gold Sea Urchin looking thing from Hobby Lobby.

When we lived in Nashville, I had these drapes custom made by Vickie Morehead. And I loved this bay window! I really need to curl up with a good book in this spot more often.

Fern from Home Goods.

And to show you how different it is from when we first toured the house, here is the BEFORE of the entry way and living room area. The walls in this space were previously yellow, and you’ll notice in the bottom photo one thing I did was paint the brick and cedar fireplace mantel all white too!

Thanks for stopping by!  Come back next week to see even more rooms!
